When the adidas x IVY PARK collaboration dropped, people were quick to notice that the line’s maroon and orange color scheme resembled some employee uniforms, including the ones at British supermarket chain Sainsbury’s and in the United States, Popeyes uniforms. Suddenly, Popeyes uniforms are hot commodities and the fried chicken fast food restaurant is now selling actual components from its uniforms. Fans can now purchase t-shirts, visors, fleeces and polos from Popeyes that feature the newly popular color pairing. 100% of the proceeds from the purchase of these items go towards the Popeyes Foundation.
Over the last few years, fast food fashion has become increasingly popular but brands capitalizing on the novelty of their uniforms is new.
