The Closca Mask was initially developed to protect people from smog, pollution, microorganisms and pollen but the mask has been adapted to offer protection during the time of a pandemic. The mask boasts an adjustable, foldable and reusable design that includes disposable filters—the same as those used in the FFP2 masks that are approved for coronavirus protection. Once inside the mask, the filters do not touch the face, which helps to increase the efficacy of the protective mask.
The mask itself is offered in three colors and can be coordinated with different straps to offer a solution that’s not only functional but aesthetically pleasing. The proceeds from every Closca Mask sold helps to provide surgical masks to vulnerable groups in Spain and abroad.
