In response to the uncertainty that the COVID-19 lockdown has prompted, KSUBI launched a sustainably-produced, limited-edition capsule, dubbed KSUBI KUSTOM. The new series features customized pieces expertly distressed by the KSUBI design team “hat reflect the uncertain nature of these trying times.” Adorned on the avant-garde collection are phrases like ‘New Future’ and ‘KRISIS’ meant to evoke a sense of unpredictability.
“Coming out of lockdown, the ksubi team, like most, were rocked by the sudden change in everyday life,” shares CEO Craig King, “We wanted to do something that is relevant to the moment, so the collection has references to being locked up. It’s basically a response to being in isolation and how we’re all currently feeling.”
