Tucker Carlson: How Much Longer Will Police Take This? Who Will Enforce The Laws Then?

TUCKER CARLSON, FOX NEWS: First they smashed the windows of police cars. Our elected leaders did nothing. It’s a political protest, they told us. We stand with the protestors. Before long, mobs of menacing young men formed in the streets, clearly intent on violence. No one in authority dared criticize them. We understand their frustration, our leaders told us. America is a sinful country. The mobs grew larger, and emboldened. Last Thursday, they came right through the front door of a police precinct in Minneapolis. The cops inside fled, under orders from their mayor. The mob burned the building. Before they did, the looted the evidence room, insuring that many violent crimes will never be solved. They did this in the name of justice. Still, our leaders did nothing. Most of them never even mentioned it. It was like it never happened. Instead, they issued more statements in solidarity with the mob. Politicians, celebrities, corporate leaders, clergy, news anchors, professional athletes – almost every person in this country we’re raised from childhood to look up to, sided with the people burning police stations. The mob saw this and grew even stronger. Last night, they began shooting cops.    For 38 years, David Dorn was a police officer in the city of St. Louis. No one ever accused Dorn of racism. He was black. He’s dead now. He was murdered last night by the mob. His killing was streamed live on Facebook. The violence accelerated from there. In St. Louis alone, four other active duty police officers were shot last night. In Las Vegas, an officer took a bullet in the head. Once the sun went down, cops all around the country found themselves under attack:   [POLICE VIDEO] How many more nights like this before no one in America will serve as a police officer? The job doesn’t pay enough. It’s not worth it. Who will enforce the laws then? Who will be in charge? Violent young men with guns will be in charge. They’ll make the rules, including in your neighborhood. They’ll do what they want. No one will stop them. You won’t want to live here then. Wise leaders understand this. It’s obvious. It’s not obvious to Joe Biden. Biden gave a speech in Philadelphia today. Biden once styled himself a patriot and a champion of ordinary people. No longer. In his speech, Biden said nothing to defend cops being shot. Instead he attacked them as instruments of quote systemic racism:   BIDEN: The moment has come for our nation to deal with systemic racism. To deal with the growing economic inequity that exists in our nation. To deal with the denial of the promise of this nation, made to so many. The country is crying out for leadership. Leadership that can unite us. Leadership that brings us together. Leadership that can recognize pain and deep grief of communities that have had a knee on their neck for a long time. The moment has come. How did murdering David Dorn advance the cause of racial justice? Biden didn’t say. Meanwhile his staff continued to send money to rioters.  Other Democrats followed Biden’s lede. In Seattle, City Councilwoman Tammy Morales all but endorsed the destruction of the city she represents.   I don’t want to hear is for our constituents to be told to be civil, not to be reactionary, to be told looting doesn’t solve anything … it does make me wonder why looting bothers people more.   Even prosecutors seemed to agree. In Dallas, a local report says that district Attorney John Cruezot’s office is refusing to process rioters, meaning they must automatically be freed. In Massachusetts, the state’s attorney general, Maura Heally, applauded the riots. She described the killing and looting as quote, a once in a lifetime opportunity. Yes, America is burning, but that’s how forests grow. That’s a verbatim quote. Healey is the chief law enforcement officer of a major state. She’s happy to see American society become mulch. It makes good fertilizer.   The press meanwhile isn’t simply covering the riots, but assisting them. Buzzfeed published a guide for rioters. It includes helpful tips: wear non-descript clothing, cover up tattoos, don’t take photos. Needless to say, CNN is on board with this. Watch tis, from other the weekend: ACOSTA: It’s so remarkable to see military style vehicles rolling through the white house complex. This is just not something you see in the United States of America, it’s something you see in more authoritarian countries. DON LEMON: Open your eyes, America. Open your eyes. We are teetering on a dictatorship. This is chaos. Is the president declaring war on Americans?… I hope that they stand up and fight for their rights… Now the entire country, according to his orders, we are living under a militarized country… He’s playing a very dangerous game because this will backfire. “I hope they stand up and fight,” says Don L’Mon from the safety of his TV  studio. But what are they fighting for, exactly? Don’t ask Don L’Mon. He doesn’t know. Something about Trump, he thinks. What does Black Lives Matter say? Much of the rioting is being committed in their name. Go to their web site if you have a minute. Here’s a post from three days ago: Defund the Police. That’s their position. No more cops. That’s what they’re fighting for. And this is no longer a fringe position in the Democratic Party. Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has endorsed it. So have Jane Fonda and many other celebrities. They said so in an open letter. Three days ago, The New York Times published a piece making the same demand. Quote: “No More Money for the Police. The article calls for the elimination of all cops and prisons, nationwide. Who would keep order? Quote: rapid response social workers, and quote, alternative emergency response programs.” If you live in a gated community, this may sound like a great idea. You’ve got your own police force. They have no plans to replace it with rapid response social workers. You’re set no matter what happens. No rapes on your street. But what about everyone else? What will happen to them? Don L’Mon and Rashida Tlaib don’t care. Your neighborhood isn’t their problem. They’re for the revolution – a revolution from above, aimed downward. The only revolution in history that’s being waged, not on behalf of the working class, but against them.
