The North Face introduces one of its archival outerwear designs once again in time for the Spring/Summer 2020 season — the revival of the 1994 Retro Mountain Light Jacket makes its debut in new tonal colorways. This time around, the brand unveils five tonal makeovers of the familiar silhouette.
The jacket was originally constructed with durability and functionality in mind first and foremost. This component was to combat the fast mountain winds, giving the wearer mobility and free movement while also protecting them. It was unveiled originally in 1988 under the brand’s Climb Light Expedition System but arrives in the 1994 iteration with updated design touches. The update spotlights the FUTURELIGHT fabric technology to make it ultra lightweight. The colorways include, Lake Blue, Jaiden Green, Mr. Pink, black, and camouflage.
